The Park Savoy Estate is a gorgeous wedding venue located in Florham Park, NJ. The property dates back to the late 19th century, and was beautifully renovated in 2011. I’ve had the pleasure to photograph weddings there on several occasions, and this one is a standout for me.
I first met Andrea and Dan when I photographed their Greenpoint engagement session a few months earlier. We had an incredible rapport together and I was super excited to document their Park Savoy wedding.
Andrea got ready at her parent’s home in Morristown and Dan was at a hotel nearby. We coordinated a rendezvous at Acorn Hall in Morristown for the first look and it was incredible! Andrea and Dan were so completely smitten by each other and it made my job very easy. It was mid-October so it was cold out, but there was love in the air so everything
After the first look portraits, we headed to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield for the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony, we headed to South Mountain Reservation in South Orange, NJ for group and couple’s portraits. I love shooting in the Fall – the leaves are beautiful and it made for quite an impressive setting! Andrea and Dan wandered through the woods with me like troopers and we found some really amazing light that day.
After portraits concluded, we made our way to cocktail hour at The Park Savoy Estate and got ready for the wedding reception. I love a great emotional wedding and this was certainly one of the best.
