Does it get any better than Summer in the Catskills? The Foxfire Mountain House wedding of Loren and Dan was completely one for the books!
Foxfire Mountain House is one of my favorite new venues in the Catskills. It’s down the road from Onteora but not quite as far as Roxbury. The overall vibe is very chill and it’s ideal for smaller gatherings. You could even say it’s “quintessential Catskills,” if you were so inclined.
The Foxfire Mountain House wedding was an intimate gathering of Loren and Dan’s closest friends and family and even though the rain threatened to shut us down, it was no match for the vibes these two brought that day.
The wedding ceremony took place in the main lawn and was officiated by a family friend. Guests made their way to a cabin near the pool for cocktail hour and then into a tent on the property for the reception.
I love documenting weddings like this – everything takes place on one property, no one is in a rush, a rain delay is just an excuse to grab a drink with your new friends and it all ends with an epic dance party in a tent.
These are my kind of people.
