Hamptons Backyard Wedding | Bridgehampton, NY

I’m always up for a trip out East, and Meghan and Dylan’s Hamptons backyard wedding was one of my all-time favorite wedding experiences. I had been out to the North Fork, Montauk, and East Hampton before, but this was something a bit different.

I started the day in Springs, NY at Meghan’s mom’s house, where Meghan got ready with a group of her closest friends. As Dylan arrived, I coordinated a very simple and organic first look with the two of them and we were quickly joined by Meghan’s friends who brought a bottle of champagne.

After the champagne toast and a few backyard portraits, we drove down to the coast for a few more couples portraits on the waterfront and then headed to Meghan’s dad’s house down the road for the wedding ceremony.

Guests arrived to a beautifully manicured Hamptons backyard where they were greeted with pre-ceremony cocktails and lawn games. The handmade ceremony arch was beautifully crafted out of wood and had seasonal florals hanging from strings for a very boho chic vibe.

Dylan walked down the aisle with the couple’s Pembroke Welsh Corgi, George, who may or may not have relieved himself halfway down the aisle. The ceremony was emotional and climaxed with thousands of colorful pompoms being thrown everywhere as Meghan and Dylan made their exit, completely overjoyed and in love.

After the backyard ceremony, we made our way to the Hamptons Aristocrat in Bridgehampton for cocktail hour and dinner. A rustic, farmhouse interior with a beautiful backyard with colorful cocktails and string lights was the scene, and it quickly turned into a an all-out dance party,

Here’s a bit of what I captured that day…
