The Green Building Wedding | Brooklyn, NY

The Green Building in Brooklyn is one of my all time favorite wedding venues. It seamlessly combines the rustic vibes of an old brass factory with modern Brooklyn elegance – perfect for couples who want an indoor/outdoor experience in the heart of Brooklyn.

Kelly and Evan’s wedding started with Kelly getting ready at their apartment on Elizabeth Street in NOHO and Evan at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. We brought them together for a first look in Brooklyn Bridge Park and made our way to the Green Building after all official portraits were done.

Guests gathered on this sunny Spring afternoon in the Green Building’s courtyard for an outdoor wedding ceremony in the round. I’ve noticed a bit of a trend for in the round ceremonies and I’m huge fan of them!

After the ceremony, guests stayed in the courtyard for cocktail hour as the sun set over Brooklyn, and then made their way inside the Green Building for the wedding reception.

Expertly designed and planned by Ashley M. Chamblin, the wedding day ran perfectly and looked incredible. Vintage bottles were used for tabletop florals along with rustic votive candles that really complimented the exposed brick walls and bare farm tables in the room. Late night snacks included donuts and pies with Chinese food takeaway containers for guests. Amazing!

It was quite an emotional and beautiful day with Kelly and Evan’s friends and family, and here’s a bit of what I captured that day…
